First post as a latex fetishist
Thank you for reading the first articles on my new platform for the enthusiastic latex fetishist. This site has been a project that was shelved at the back of my mind for a long time. Partially because I never gave myself the time to think about what the goal of this website should be. Mostly simply because lack of time. Recently things became clear and sorta fell in place. One of the reasons is to have a platform under my own rules. Where I can share what I want without having to worry about ‘community guidelines’. Yes I am referring to Instagram and their horrible selective indignation. I will vent my frustration about them soon.
How Fetics Fetish changed my life
It’s never been easy to have a serious fetish for latex. With serious fetish I mean the heavy rubber way of life that keeps me going. Non of my exes understood my desires nor were they open to explore much of it. When in 2015 a loved one passed away unexpectedly, it made me rethink my life. I realised that I was mostly just going with the flow of life and needed to guide myself in certain directions again.
Around the same time I started expressing myself online, unaware about the life changing journey I would embark on. Fetics Fetish was born. I’ve written a longer and more detailed version about this as a separate article and you can read it here.
Because of daily life, my work and online activity I’ve always kept my identity a secret. To this day there are only a few people that know who I am and what I do. My work and private life has complicatedly evolved over the past decade. Over time friends became clients and clients became friends.
Representing a large company in the luxury industry and being outed as a heavy rubber fetishist could potentially have done a lot of harm. Perhaps I’ve always been overly paranoid for no reason but I always believe in ‘better safe than sorry’. So far so good!
We do this for a reason
After many years of insane hard work I’ve finally left the rapids and sailed into calmer waters. That gives me the time and much needed rest to think about the future. Meanwhile I have time to dust off the plans for this website. With many years of experience writing articles, photography and social media it’s now time to put energy in my own platform instead those of others. The only difference is that doing it for others paid my bills and this only costs time and money.
We don’t believe in asking for free money, beg for ‘reimbursements’ or selling ‘fan content’. As soon as you start doing that it becomes work. Besides that it’s a well known fact that ”whoever pays, determines” and we simply want to remain independent at all times. I have experience with a hobby becoming work and that literally meant the end of the hobby. It happened twice in my life and fetish is too important in my life to put that at risk.
We do this for a reason. Our challenge and main goal as a latex fetishist is to share a much needed positive voice about kink & fetish. We can do this by using our words and creativity in our own mysterious ways. Since we both started our online journeys we have grown a substantial amount of followers on various platforms. Too bad Instagram deleted 10 (!) accounts of my partner with (combined) over 100K followers gone. So we better put our energy into something we have control over ourselves.
Artistic Fetish Showcase
So what’s the plan? I think our work deserves more attention than simply being swiped past on the socials. Here we are also able to coat our work with our voice. So people can understand what it’s like being a latex fetishist. We want to share the shiny dark side and our way of life with a latex fetish in a positive way. What begins as an artistic latex portfolio can hopefully slowly transform into an online magazine about anything fetish and everything that comes with it.
