Over time we’ve been approached by a lot by people to do shoots. By we I mean Fetish Erotica as not many are interested in shooting with a man in rubber. I’ve received the question a few times but she has been chased by many ‘photographers’ in the scene to do a shoot with them. She always turned them down politely as she only wants to work with me. Combine that with the fact that we are very much on our own, not many have seen us ‘in the wild’. We simply live our fetish life our own way and that is mostly private apart from what we share with the world.
Private Fetish Party
Until last year we’ve only attended GFB once. Our planning was to go again the year after but my busy work life got in the way. So that was the only time we went to a fetish event. Until we recently received a last minute invitation to a private party. It came from an online friend we’ve been in touch with for a while (Mr. Harvey_P) and we decided to go.
Long story short, we had an amazing time. Brughes is an amazing place and on the party night itself we walked into a venue and indulged ourselves in a crowd of mostly fully rubbered up people. It was an amazing night. Fast forward a few months and we are on our way to Belgium again. This time to do our first fetish duo shoot with Mrs. Harvey_P and Fetish Erotica.
We booked a comfortable suite in a hotel nearby and after checking in we took our equipment and bags of rubber to their home. Although we never did something like this we were right at ease upon arrival. After setting up and discussing a few ideas we started with the fetish duo shoot. Luckily they had a nice space available in their house with a proper backdrop. Combined with my lighting kit it made a great setup considering we’re not in a studio.
Outside the comfort zone is where the magic happens
During a few hours we did several mini shoots in different settings and with different props. As a professional photographer in daily life I specialise in a different type of photography. It helps capturing our own journey for our socials. But this was different and somewhat outside of my comfort zone and that’s exactly where the magic happens. Something I learned during the years that I self-taught and mastered photography to the point where it became my profession. You have to look differently and find ways to create interesting visuals that tell a story.
It turned out to be a great afternoon and we ended up shooting into the early evening. While breaking down the setup and packing up all the bags, the ladies changed back to their daily selves again. We finished the evening with a bite and some drinks before we went back to the hotel. We had a great time during our first fetish duo shoot and want to thank Mrs. and Mr. Harvey_P for their hospitality.
