What do you do in daily life?

Currently, I am a stay-at-home cat butler (unemployed), however I have dabbled in a variety of things, from event organisation/assistance to sex work via Manyvids and photos, and by professional degree I am a marketer.  

What got you into latex?

I am going to blame the lovely Elise Graves of Bondage Liberation for this! When I was younger, and exploring my sexuality, (on YouTube of all places!) I discovered some videos of Elise and a number of others visiting the Studio Gum store, and Elise getting placed in more and more and more heavy rubber, and the happy squeals coming from Elise made me so interested in the material. After that just exploring more and more the latex subculture, and the fashionable side of latex fascinated me, until I finally gained the courage to join the fetish scene myself!

How long have you been into latex?

I’ve been interested in it for probably close to 9-10 years, but I only started wearing and partaking in the community 5ish years ago!

How often do you rubber up?

Not as often as I would like! In the past, I would dress up solo, but more and more I crave and prefer to be shiny with someone else around, that and having 3 furballs that do not give a damn about personal space or clawing latex as meant latex times at home are a challenge! I would like to have a content creation room, but that’s on the backburner for the time being. 

I am making more of an effort to be shiny at least once a week now, and to wear little touches of latex to every kink event I go to on my local scene even if I don’t do the full shine that I wear for my social media!

Talc or lube?

Lube! Lube every day! I use vividress personally, and I find that does a pretty good job #nonspon!  I have used talc, and it’s okay in my book, but the mess is so much more obvious, and adds more faff of needing to reshine latex.

Who knows about it?

When I think about it, most people in my daily life, my parents know, my friends (all of whom are kinky as fuck) know, the kink scene at large knows, my partners know! I don’t really hide the latex part of me away anymore, especially within the alternative circle, as at heart I do believe latex is just a material, just one that requires extra steps! 

How do people react to it?

Depending on the situation, either with arousal, confusion, adoration or sympathy! Reactions from within my local kink community is one of acceptance, and of interest (my local scene isn’t very shiny), and I regularly give lil’ latex educations to folks interested in trying stuff out! (this education includes shoving people in my sleep sack and heavy rubber suit!).

Whenever I have shot in public, reactions have ranged from completely adorable, to sympathy. My favorite reactions have been a girl from a distance screaming KITTTYYYY! While I was dressed in my kitty gear in the woods, and an older man going “gosh you must be boiling in that!” while shooting in 30c+ weather near a river. (Of course, my response was to theatrically remove the rubber boot I was wearing and to pour a good stream of sweat into the river!). Either way, I have never had any negative reactions to my outfits! 

First and last item you bought?

My first item was a very cheap molded latex vest from an eBay seller (which I still have too this day!), my newest item is an evening gown from a small seller called Latex&Lovers, for all those potentially fancy times I might need something shiny!

What or how does your fetish add to your life?

So, my latex kink used to be a center focus of my kink, with anything else shaped around it, as I have evolved in the scene, latex has become a lovely accent piece to my kinky lifestyle, something to wear when I want to make a statement, but also still sometimes just because I like to wear it because it feels nice and I look good in it! Wearing latex gives me a sense of confidence, the same as wearing heels, it also gives a sense of security to me.

Latex also gave me the opportunity to explore what I was into, and explore my body and gender identity, allowing me to be the me that I wanted to be, even if I didn’t know it at the time!

Most importantly to me though, it introduced me to the fetish scene, directly because of latex I had my first serious relationship, with someone I am still close friends with to this day, and it has introduced me to a whole host of people on my local scene that I love and care for to this day, it’s been amazing to know them and share my shiny and non-shiny journey with them. Without latex I would never have had that opportunity, or even the confidence to do so. 

What are your other hobbies?

I enjoy a good bit of TV/film! Currently I have been very invested in Bridgerton, Fallout and I really enjoyed Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Incidentally, my Favorite Star Wars film is Rogue one and my Favorite Star Trek Captain is Sisko!

I am also a PC gamer. Currently my mild obsession is Crusader Kings 2, I quite like strategy games, city builders and occasionally FPS and TPS shooters but I’ve not played one in a while! 

I also have an interest in making latex clothing, but for practical reasons, my ability to do so is limited to my own gear repairs until I can get a proper crafting space, though I am in the process of making a vac-cube with some shiny friends!
